Macro Analysis
What is the key plot idea introduced in the title sequence?
That there is going to be a devastation, possibly due to a bacterial virus as they show
images of moving bacteria and people running and screaming. The images shows an
epidemic of some sort.
There isn't a specific order, but from the beginning of the title sequence we are presented with very fast shots of bloody people, almost not human and then gradually we start to see the devastation which could be the consequence of the creatures.
What characters are introduced? When and How?
Characters are not necessarily introduced, there are videos of people running and sometimes a news presenters talking, but no indication saying its the main character.
What social groups are represented? How are they represented?
There are lower class people and upper class people, as we are shown people on the street with dirty clothes, whereas there are the upper class people leaving the white house and the TV presenters too. There is a negative view on the lower class people as they are seen disoriented and in a lot of distress.
